Craft session: Purse decorating

Inspired by flowers, fashion, and fun!

  • Booking essential
  • Admission applies

Let your creativity bloom in this hands-on craft session inspired by Berrington’s beautiful Georgian garden. Children are invited to decorate their own fabric purse using colours, patterns and natural motifs drawn from the garden around them. During the Georgian era, gardens heavily influenced fashion, with flowers, leaves and landscapes reflected in clothing and accessories. In this session, young makers will explore that idea by creating a purse they can wear, just as people in the past wore the garden for inspiration and style. All materials are provided and children will leave with a unique, garden‑inspired purse to take home.

Suitable for children and families. £3 per child. Bookable slots from 11am-4pm.
