This botanical journaling workshop focuses on close observation and personal response, still accurate, but with a looser, more expressive style.
Take this opportunity to look closely at nature, experiment with colour mixing, and explore the shapes and forms around you.
Let Berrington Hall's surroundings inspire you and take home a set of completed sketches.
Sketching materials are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own sketchbook and supplies.
£25 per ticket plus normal admission.

Please meet at Visitor Reception, our lovely welcome team will provide you with a map and guide you in the correct direction.
- What to bring and wear
Wear weather‑appropriate clothing and shoes, as the event includes both indoor and outdoor. All sketching materials are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own sketchbook and supplies.
- Accessibility
There are level access paths around the garden and park with a mix of tarmac, gravel, bonded gravel and grassy paths. There is an accessible route around the walled garden, with some grassy paths.
