Bring a blanket or camping chair (and of course a picnic) and watch the incredible tales of The Gruffalo & Stickman on a giant open-air cinema screen.
The Gruffalo: The magical tale of a mouse who sets out on a woodland adventure in search of a nut. Encountering predators who all wish to eat him – Fox, Owl and Snake – the brave mouse creates a terrifying, imaginary monster to frighten them away. But what will the mouse do when he meets this frightful monster for real?
Stick Man: A happy-go-lucky father’s epic journey to make it home in time for Christmas, with a little help from Santa. Stick Man’s enduring efforts against setbacks will make sure that there is not a dry eye in the house!
Gates open at 10am.. Showtime: 11am - 12pm.

- Suitability
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
- Meeting point
Screenings take place in the events field overlooking the hall. Please follow signage and steward’s directions.
- What to bring and wear
Make sure you bring a blanket or chair to sit on, weather-appropriate gear, and a picnic if you wish.
- Accessibility
The event is held on a flat field with short grass, with some uneven ground. It is approx. 200m from the car park, partially along a wheelchair accessible path and grass. There will be accessible toilet facilities on-site. Please speak to our friendly stewards if you require any assistance.
- Other
Hot food, snacks and drinks are available to purchase. Picnics are welcome. Assistance dogs only.
