Apple Harvest

Hanbury Hall's annual Apple Harvest is back. Pick your own apples, learn more about different varieties in a display, and discover some recipe ideas and cooking tips for your freshly picked produce.

Come along to the Hanbury Orchard to assist with the Apple Harvest, and pick your own organic apples fresh from the tree. Please use the bags provided to pick your apples. These can be purchased at visitor reception.

Learn about the 47 varieties that grow here at Hanbury, including the Golden Pippin, Howgate Wonder and the traditional Bramley. Discover some delicious new recipes, and enjoy spending time in the gardens as summer turns to autumn.

Visit a stall with Hanbury Hall's beekeeper Tim Vivian where he will be selling Hanbury honey and homemade cider on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September.

All funds raised from our apple harvest go directly towards maintaining the gardens at Hanbury Hall for everyone, forever.

The Apple Orchard

Accessibility

There is level access to get to the Orchard where the apple trees are located. Mobility vehicles are available to hire free of charge, please call the office on 01527 821214 to book. The Access Vehicle runs daily from 10am - 4pm to transport visitors from the car park up to the Hall and Stableyard and back. There is an accessible toilet located in the Courtyard Kitchen.
