Malvern's Secret War Heroes - A Theatre Performance

Mysterious outsiders arrive at Malvern’s Bluebird tearooms during WWII—tweed jackets, odd equipment, and secretive ways. Locals wonder: Who are they, and why are they here? As tensions rise, secrets unravel in this captivating new play.

Set in the Bluebird tearooms in Malvern during World War 2, the locals are wondering who these ‘outsiders’ are, arriving in trucks with strange equipment set up in the back.

They wear spectacles and tweed jackets and the girls look like they are just out of school. All they seem to do, is wander around town, in groups, apparently showing no interest whatsoever in joining the war effort. They are reluctant to say why they have appeared.

Are they conscientious objectors, petty criminals or what? Why have they arrived? Also why are they being billeted to local residents to accommodate them in their homes, often against their wishes?

As the story unfolds all is eventually revealed.

This event is a first for The Firs - come along and enjoy this theatre performance by Malvern Skyline Productions.
