Looking for a venue to hire?

At The Firs, our Carice Room offers a versatile and welcoming space perfect for many occasions.

Our site holds a unique place in British history, honouring the life and legacy of Sir Edward Elgar, the composer behind Nimrod and Land of Hope and Glory.

The Carice Room, located within our visitor centre, is available for hire and is ideal for classes, meetings, conferences, concerts, and small celebrations.

Situated just 4 miles from Worcester (a convenient 10 minute drive), The Firs offers a peaceful, inspiring setting with plenty of on-site amenities.

Regular hirers can also benefit from National Trust promotion through our social media channels and leave leaflets within our welcome area.

The Carice Room

The Carice Room is a flexible function space suitable for hosting a wide range of activities, including classes, meetings, concerts, and private events.
Included with room hire:
•    70 chairs
•    6 tables
•    Optional use of projector and sound system
•    Optional use of tuned grand piano
•    Access to toilets
•    Access to Little Al’s Café (open Friday–Monday)

•    66 people seated
•    44 people seated at tables

Prices

Single Bookings
£20 per hour (Friday–Monday during public opening hours)
Regular Bookings
£12 per hour (Friday–Monday during public opening hours)

If you’re planning educational group visits to National Trust places, then you could benefit from an Education Group Access Pass, which gives you free admission for a year.
