Harvest at Beningbrough

Experience harvest with guided garden tours, harvest displays and a taste of the season.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Mark the harvest season with a visit to Beningbrough, where displays in the stables courtyard celebrate the produce from the gardens and the changing colours of autumn.

On 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16 October, join a guided tour of the walled garden at 11am to discover the fruits, vegetables and flowers grown throughout the year, and learn more about the role the harvest has played in shaping the garden's seasonal rhythm. You can also enjoy apple pressing demonstrations and tastings at 2pm on each of these days, offering a chance to sample the flavours of the season.

Further activities include jam and curd tastings from the National Trust retail range on 9 and 16 October, alongside opportunities to purchase dried flowers grown and harvested from Beningbrough's own cutting garden on 10 and 17 October.

Whether you're seeking seasonal inspiration, a taste of autumn, or a cosy day out, harvest at Beningbrough offers plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
