Explorers: Moorland Birds Trail
Bring your binoculars along on this walk for a chance to see the special birds who call the moorland home.

This is a circular walk around Redbrook Reservoir to see which birds we can see and hear.
We suggest you download the bird app "Merlin" onto your mobile phone (free to download), this is the perfect tool for us all to immerse ourselves in identifying the sights and sounds of the local birds. There will be a demonstration on on how to use the app in our introduction to the walk on the day.

This walk is 3 miles long and will take approx. 2 hours. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join.

Please wear suitable clothing for the changeable weather in Marsden and sturdy footwear. Please bring plenty to drink and snacks.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the walk so we can cover relevant safety information. Suggested donation of £3 which goes towards running these walks and restoring the moorland.
