Guided Walk: March Haig Walk

Enjoy the first signs of spring and views from the top end of the valley whilst visiting one of the reservoirs built to feed the canal.

This walk is 5 miles and will take approx. 3 hours.

This walk is designed for children who are comfortable with the distance.

Meet at the Marsden offices (Information Room The Old Goods Yard Station Road, Huddersfield HD7 6DH)

What to bring and wear

Please bring suitable clothing and outdoor footwear.

Other

Dogs on leads welcome. Children welcome. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the walk so we can cover relevant safety information. Please wear suitable clothing for the changeable weather in Marsden and sturdy footwear. Please bring plenty to drink and snacks. Suggested donation of £3 which goes towards running these walks and restoring the moorland.
