Come and join us to see the curious Way Stone which sits proudly on the moorland overlooking the M62. We will learn about its origin and its significance in bygone times. The walk includes established tracks with some ascent but will also include a long section across open moorland on rough, undulating terrain with some stiles and boggy areas.
This walk is 9 miles and will take approx. 6 hours.

Dogs on leads welcome. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the walk so we can cover relevant safety information. Please wear suitable clothing for the changeable weather in Marsden and sturdy footwear. Please bring plenty to drink and snacks. Suggested donation of £3 which goes towards running these walks and restoring the moorland.
