Family Bat Walks at Nostell

Join us after hours for a walk in the gardens and see the Nostell bats come out to play.

  • Booking essential

Guided by our experts, you’ll explore the gardens after dusk in search of bats, using specialist detectors to hear their hidden calls. Along the way, you’ll learn how to handle the equipment, discover the different species that call Nostell home, including Common Pipistrelle, Daubenton’s and Noctule bats and find out about their favourite routes and hunting habits.

By the end of the walk, you’ll be confident using a bat detector and will have uncovered the fascinating nightlife of Nostell’s bat populations.
