What does your day-to-day work involve?

I go to my fair share of meetings, usually tied in to the property business plan and budget, and checking in on how we’re delivering against all of our ambitions and KPIs. My best days are when I’m out on the ground with the team, absorbing their knowledge and passion and really feeling and seeing the part we all play in looking after amazing places. Those days really inspire me!

What is your favourite National Trust property?

I have a list of favourite properties which all have added to the value of my life for example, as a child I can remember jumping waves every summer at Portstewart Strand and going to The Argory with my granny and now, perhaps because life is so busy I love the remoteness of Murlough and the serenity of Cushendun. There is an ever longer list of properties I want to see!

Tell us three interesting facts about yourself.

This is the hardest question, it’s really subjective and I think I was much more interesting 10 years ago! I speak fluent Spanish, I’m a qualified scientific diver and I can do a good cartwheel!
