Helios is a sun sculpture by Luke Jerram. It's touring some of the places in our care, as well as some partner sites, to mark the launch of our new 10-year strategy. We invite everyone to experience the sun's hidden beauty and power up close through this seven-metre artwork. Find out where you can visit Helios near you.

Helios was co-commissioned by National Trust, Cork Midsummer Festival, Liverpool Cathedral, Old Royal Naval College and University College London.

Connecting people, art and nature

The sun has inspired people throughout history as a symbol of life, light and renewal. By blending art with science, Helios invites us to reflect on the forces that shape our planet, and recognise our role in serving and protecting the natural world.
