Wicken Fen Cycling Festival 2019

Join us for our first ever cycling festival at Wicken Fen! We've got a new cycling trail to share with you that will take you out into the wider reserve, and plenty of ideas for beginners and experienced cyclists too. Our cycling festival runs throughout the month of September 2019, so there's plenty of time to enjoy a new cycling adventure, or maybe even two.

If you've never cycled at Wicken Fen before, September is a great time to explore on two or three wheels.  Try our new cycling trail to Tubney Fen, where you can take a breather in our hide and look for roe deer and marsh harriers.  The route is a total of approximately 10 miles and should take between 1.5 and 2 hours to complete.

Our friendly cycle hire team will find a suitable bike for you and lend you a cycle helmet and bike lock.  Our cycle hire centre is open from 10am to 5pm daily (last hire 3pm).  We've got lots of cycle routes to share with you, so you can start off with our new trail and return again to try another later in the month.  Cycle hire rates can be found here
