Our scale model is one of the many ways to get hands on and learn about Winchester City Mill

As well as experiencing the full force of the River Itchen as it roars beneath Winchester City Mill, there’s a lot taking place in February half-term to keep to keep families busy. All of our half-term events are free after admission, suitable for tiny tots as well as older children and perfect if you’re looking for adventure, especially on a rainy day.

‘What Am I’ family trail

Saturday 16 - Sunday 24 February, 10am-3pm  

Explore indoors and outdoors across Winchester City Mill with our new ‘What Am I?’ trail everyday this half-term. Don an explorer’s hat and using the clues in your clue book unlock the secrets of the Mill, collecting symbols as you go. Complete your adventure to win a prize.

Half-term baking demonstration

Saturday 23 February, 11am-3pm

Discover how our team of volunteer bakers combine our freshly milled stoneground flour with local seasonal ingredients to produce delicious sweet and savoury foods for you to sample during our baking demonstrations.
