Shopping at Winchester City Mill

Toiletries are arranged around a rustic wooden sink.

Located within the historic city of Winchester, just a short stroll from the Cathedral, is Winchester City Mill and shop. Situated in the Mill’s old stable, our charming shop is the perfect place to find that special gift. Stocked with an array of edible treats and seasonal National Trust ranges, we like to spoil you with choice. The money from every purchase you make goes back into looking after special places for everyone, for ever.

Seasonal products

Our stock changes seasonally to reflect the shifting landscape and time of year. Our items are influenced by the special places that we look after. Inspired by rivers and their surrounding landscapes, our 'Riverlands' theme explores the rivers in our care and the work that is done to keep them healthy, clean and rich in wildlife.

Little visitors

Young explorers will find plenty of ways to make even more of their day. We have a great range of story books, traditional sweets and, of course, our cuddly otter toy – a perfect reminder of their visit to Winchester City Mill.

Our flour

Winchester City Mill is the oldest working watermill in the country. We mill weekly, producing around 15 tonnes of stoneground wholemeal flour a year. 1.5kg and 5kg bags are available to purchase in our shop, as well as recipe cards, created by our volunteer bakers, to inspire you to bake at home. We also stock bakeware, cookbooks and bread-making books appealing to the novice or more experienced baker.
