Booking a tour for 575 Wandsworth Road

575 Wandsworth Road is open for pre-booked tours from 2 March-2 November. With places strictly limited to six per tour, it is essential to book onto one of our guided tours if you would like to visit. You will also need to bring a pair of socks or slippers to walk on the hand-painted floors.

Due to the delicate nature of the house, tours are limited to 54 visitors a week, in tours of a maximum of six people at a time. Admission charges and a booking fee apply Pre-booking is essential as tours fill up very quickly.

Tour information

In order to protect the hand-painted floorboards, you will be asked to remove your shoes.Please bring along your own slipper socks or slippers. We can provide you with a pair if needed at suggested donation of £2.

Tours are at 11:30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm and last approximately one hour.

In September, pre-booked tours are on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (with some exceptions). 

In October, pre-booked tours are on on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (with some exceptions).

Unfortunately there are no catering or toilet facilities on site.

How to book

Tickets are released for sale in three month periods at a time:
•    Tickets for March, April, and May are available from February
•    Tickets for June, July, and August are available from May
•    Tickets for September, October, and 2 November are available from August.

As places are extremely limited, please only book your ticket if you are defintiely able to visit on your choen date and time. We are unable to reallocate tickets at short notice, so if you discover you cannot attend for any reason, please call the booking line as soon as possible on 0344 249 1895 to cance and give someone else the opportunity experience this extrordinary house. Unfortunately refunds cannot be given.
