Coppicing on Abinger Roughs

Learn new skills, make new friends and feel invigorated while looking after the countryside when you volunteer with us. We are always on the lookout for new members to join our team and help us with preserving Abinger Roughs and Netley Park for future generations.

We need you

If you enjoy being outdoors and would like to help with a variety of conservation tasks, please drop us an email.
Recently we've been coppicing in Birchin Copse. Hazel stools have been coppiced and a new path (snowdrop path) has been opened up with the help of our volunteers.

Working in partnership

We’re interested in working with organisations to host local events and projects. We've had fantastic days with the Real Dad’s Army and our visitors in the past. If you've an idea, we'd like to hear it. Please email us.

Memories of the Roughs and Netley Park

We think our properties are very special but we’d like to know what you think. Have you visited recently or perhaps you’ve volunteered here in the past? We’d love to see your photos and hear your stories, so please email us with your memories.
