Christmas at the Court

We hope you all had a lovely Christmas in 2020, check back here nearer the time to find out what's going on for Christmas 2021.

Find the Wooden Reindeer

Although Father Christmas is unable to visit this year, he sends Christmas wishes and says he hopes to see you all again in 2021. He's has also sent his wooden reindeer to join us again, but Rudolph has been a bit naughty and run off with all the rest of the reindeer and hidden around the pleasure grounds; can you spot them all and find that naughty Rudolf. There are 10 to look out for. Can you help name the extra reindeer? Let reception know on your way out and we'll add the name to the board.

Tasty treats in the tea-room

The tea-room is open for light refreshments with limited seating indoors (please remember a face covering, unless you are exempt).

Why not treat yourself with something from the Christmas menu:

  • Gingerbread latte or caramel cappuccino
  • Shortbread christmas trees or crumbly topped mince pies with homemade mincemeat and clotted cream
  • Orange and cranberry scones or Christmas cake

We also have crisps and confectionery; cream teas; cakes; pasties and sausage rolls, including vegan pasty (chickpea and cauliflower in a fruity curry sauce) – please note the offer will vary according to the amount of visitor bookings we have on the day.

With over 20 miles of pathways winter is a great time to appreciate the outdoors and connect with nature, enjoy a crisp walk, take in the bird hide, go through the woods and explore the Wilderness play area.
