Come out and play at Barrington Court

Children playing games

There’ll be something to do every day during the school summer holiday.

Pick up your copy of the family trim trail challenge in visitor reception and explore the estate while completing fun tasks that will get you moving, get your heart beating faster and give you a good laugh. A handy map will show you where to go to play football, vintage tennis, skittles and crazy croquet.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 24 July and 28 August (11am–12.30pm and 1.30–3pm) everyone will congregate on the south lawn for a programme of nostalgic summer sporting fun with egg and spoon races, sack races, three-legged races and more.  There will be special stickers for all who take part and medals for the winners!

Get involved

We are currently looking for friendly and enthusiatic people to join the volunteer team as Outdoor Activity Assistants every Tuesday and Wednesday in August.  You'll be helping organise a summer of fun and games designed for the whole family to enjoy, so you need to be over 18 and to enjoy active and full days.

You can get in touch by emailing barringtoncourt@nationaltrust.org.uk or phoning 01460 241938 and chatting to one of the team.
