Bodiam Castle conservation team blog

A view of a workspace in the new conservation studio at Bodiam Castle

This article is destined to become a blog by our conservation team at the castle to let readers know of the many castle artefacts that have been rescued from storage in the towers.

Take a journey through our artefacts

After years of being stored in the towers of the castle, Bodiam's numerous artefacts have been brought down to a new Conservation studio in Castle Cottage.

Their journey started in August 2017 and will continue over many months and years as we rediscover some of the pieces of Bodiam's story that have been hidden away.

As we progress through this process, our conservation will start up a blog and you'll be able to find out more about what we've discovered and how we are caring for these precious items.

Watch this space!

We're not quite ready to start blogging yet, but check back in again soon and hopefully you'll find the door open to Bodiam's past.
