Visit 'Brock's Books' at Brockhampton

A lady browsing in the bookshop

The second-hand bookshop will reopen from Monday 12 April. Safety measures have been put in place to make sure you and others have a safe visit here.

Our little bookshop is one of the smallest within the National Trust but amazingly during 2019 it made over five thousand pounds which went towards planting new orchards here.

Following government guidance, the bookshop will reopen from Monday 12 April.

Being such a small area, we can only allow one bubble into the bookshop at a time as it is not possible to socially distance. Our bookshop volunteers will pop in to check and sterilise the area whenever it's empty but will not sit inside the shop as they once used to.

Please pop your mask on before entering and use the hand sanitiser before touching anything. It goes without saying but please do handle the books as little as possible; you should also sanitise your hands again before you leave.

The price of each book can be found inside the front cover. To pay simply pop your change in the honesty box near the door, or take your books to Visitor Reception, near the car park, to pay by card.

Thank you so much for your support. We’re thrilled to be able to welcome you back.
