The team are busy finishing our preparations for next year’s exhibition, which will re-display some of our most precious objects. Home to the Throckmorton family for over 600 years – persecuted for their Catholic faith, they risked everything on secret plots and political intrigue. This year we take a closer look at some of the objects associated with their story.

Westminster Pool

The Gentleman's walk along the Westminster Pool is fully re-opened again for you to enjoy a gentle stroll.

The Gardens

Many new bulbs have been planted to add to our already beautiful display. The daffodils are worth a visit on their own with lots of different varieties giving a long display.

The Dr Tom Memorial daffodil garden was designed by Christina Williams - daughter of Mrs Clare MacLaren-Throckmorton - and brought to life by the Head Gardener and his team.
