Christmas comes early here at Coughton Court so that the family can enjoy their home over the festive season. Keep looking here to see how my preparations are going on. I will be here during the weekend openings looking forward to meeting you. Just come along on the day and pick up a ticket at Visitor reception. I can get very busy so early is good.

I am starting to get excited. Christmas is coming and the materials to make the decorations are arriving. Just need to get the elves out of their beds ready for making now. Wish me luck, there is always a naughty one, and keep coming back to see how it is going.

The elves have been in making decorations. They have done a good job as always. As soon as they have tidied up the house after Hallowe'en I will get them started on decorating the house inside. I may have to give them a mince pie to get them in the mood. We have had the first frost of the year here this morning.

I have sent the elves out to choose my tree for this year. They chose the biggest one that they could find. I was hoping that Rudolph would bring it back here on our sleigh but he tells me that he doesn't start work until December.

My desk is already getting covered with letters. Don't forget to bring one when you come to see me then I can make my plans. Sorry but I cannot promise everything but I will try my very best.

Which is the best route around the world?

I am trying to work out the best way to travel all around the world in 24 hours so there are maps all over my desk. Does anyone know of a better way?
