Eating and shopping

We use compostable takeaway cups in our cafes

What refreshments are available?

The café is open from 10am to 5pm daily serving a limited selection of drinks, cakes, light bites and sandwiches to eat in or to take away. We’ve introduced new safety measures including screens at our till, collection points and waymarked routes. If you’re eating in or using our outdoor seating, we’ll ask you to scan your membership card or, if you’re not a member, to leave brief contact details for the Test, Trace and Protect programme. We look forward to welcoming you back and know that you’ll support us to make this a safe experience for everyone.

We need your support

For 125 years, people like you have helped us protect some of the UK's best-loved places. Everyone needs nature, beauty and green spaces now more than ever. But our income has dropped sharply due to the coronavirus crisis, and our essential conservation work is at risk. Please give what you can to help us look after these places, so people and nature can thrive.
