Our consultancy service
The National Trust was formed in 1895 to protect our nation’s heritage and open spaces, and over 120 years later the importance of connecting people with place is still at the heart of everything we do.
Helping to look after the places where people live
The National Trust is Europe’s largest conservation charity, looking after 350 pay-for-entry properties and 250,000 ha of land - but we care about all special places, not just those we own or manage.
Our Consultancy Service
Here at the National Trust, we already operate an internal consultancy model for our own places, but are now able to offer a wide ranging external consultancy service to groups and individuals outside of the Trust.
We can draw on unrivalled knowledge and skills across many areas including; business planning, visitor experience, marketing, commercial income generation, fundraising, volunteering, and stakeholder engagement, as well as the full range of conservation skills whether historic or land based.
We also regularly partner with other consultants where they can bring added experience or expertise.
" The protection of our natural environment and historic places over the past 100 years has been core to the work of the Trust but it has never been just about looking after our own places. This is a long-term commitment, for the benefit of generations to come."
