You will be camping in an idyllic village location. The adjacent Houghton Mill is on an island on the Great Ouse River, Houghton Mill has inspired artists and photographers for generations.

Come and experience the sound and atmosphere of a traditional working mill, have a go at making flour or lose yourself in the tranquillity of the riverside setting.

The local village of Houghton is pictureseque, with thatch-roof cottages, it also has local amenities such as pubs and shops. The local area is perfect for nature lovers with plenty of opportunities for bird watching, walking, horse riding and cycling. 

Further afield is the famous and historic university city of Cambridge, with its river for punting, many shops, restaurants and museum. 

The pitches

  • 15 tent pitches and 6 have an electric hook-up.
  • All pitches are sizes 9x5 metres.
  • If you have a favourite pitch, or would prefer to be close to the river, near the toilet block, or close to friends, please leave a message when booking online, or tell our staff when booking by phone, and we will do our very best to accommodate your request.
  • Electric hook-up between £1 and £4 extra per night (dependent on season)
