Plant Centre volunteers provide a warm welcome for all visitors to the Glendurgan Plant Centre, advising them on purchases and giving plant information. They help to keep the area tidy and presentable and may on occasion assist with deliveries.

What's involved

Working with the retail team to promote National Trust products to visitors
• Providing a warm, friendly welcome to all visitors as the public face of the National Trust
• Assisting visitors to the plant centre, answering questions and providing information and keeping the area looking tidy and presentable
• Learning about everything that is on offer at Glendurgan Garden so you can answer any questions and assist/encourage visitors to make the best of their day
• Becoming familiar with and then following the National Trust’s Health and Safety Policy at all times

This role will suit you if you are...

  • enthusiastic and friendly
  • enjoy meeting people and like working as part of a team
  • An interest in gardens/gardening would be useful but is not essential. However, you need to be keen to learn
