Celebrating 125 plants at Glendurgan

Magnolia x soulangeana in flower at Glendurgan

This year the National Trust celebrates 125 years of caring for special places. To be part of these celebrations, we will be featuring the top 125 plants at Glendurgan as they look their best across the seasons.

We care for a diverse collection of plants at Glendurgan, both exotic and native, and the 2020 celebrations is the perfect opportunity for us to highlight what we look after here at the valley garden.

Each month we will have a downloadable monthly guide featuring a selection of plants which will be at their best and where is best to spot them on a walk through the garden.

" We feel proud to look after this prestigious garden entrusted into our care and look forward to showcasing 125 of our favourite plants at Glendurgan. Due to unpredictable weather conditions plants may only bloom for a short period or unexpectedly early but we’re confident the monthly guides will provide an accurate depiction of what can be seen in the garden"

You can download all the information you’ll need using the links below, including a map to help you find the plant locations in the garden which are given as grid references for each plant profile.
