The new second-hand bookshop at Glendurgan

A volunteer in a second-hand bookshop

The charming bookshop is stocked full of pre-loved books with a variety on the shelves sure to pique everyone’s interest.

All funds raised from the sales of books go straight back into keeping Glendurgan a special place for future generations to enjoy.

You can access the bookshop from the old plant sales area. Please note we ask for a maximum of 5 in the bookshop at once due as space is limited.

The safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff remains our top priority. Face coverings are recommend in enclosed, crowded areas during your visit. We'll continue to provide hand sanitiser and stick to our high standards of cleanliness.

Opening times

The bookshop is open 10.30am – 5pm Tuesday to Sunday each week, plus bank holiday Mondays and all Mondays in August.

Give an old book a new home

We're grateful to accept donations of good quality books you need to re-home. By donating your pre-loved books for others to enjoy, you can help raise vital funds to secure Glendurgan’s future for ever, for everyone.

Due to limited storage space we can only accept small quantities of second-hand books during opening hours. For larger donations, please telephone in advance on 01326 252020 or email glendurgan@nationaltrust.org.uk before to ensure we have enough quarantine and storage space.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept abridged Reader's Digest novels, encyclopaedias, magazines, DVDs or CDs.
