Walking the dog along the North Helford

A man examines the walking information board at NT Bosveal car park

Take your pick of various dog friendly way-marked walks along the North Helford with over 300 acres of countryside, coastline and beaches waiting to be explored.

Parking at NT Bosveal car park (free for members, £3 for non-members) which is less than half a mile around the corner from Glendurgan’s main car park, there are numerous countryside walks available with year-round access to dog friendly beaches. You'll find an information board detailing way-marked walks of varying lengths and distances, taking in woodland areas, the South West Coast Path and secluded stony coves along the way.

When walking your dog across fields please be mindful of any livestock grazing and keep your dog on a lead and under control.

Access to Glendurgan is limited to assistance dogs, however all pooches are welcome in Glendurgan’s reception, plant sales and Tea-house so nobody gets to miss out on coffee and cake or a little retail therapy. You’ll also find water bowls dotted about for thirsty canines who need a refreshing drink. Feel free to ask for a map of the countryside and one of the team will be happy to talk through different options for walks around the area.
