And when you're not relaxing in your cottage, there's miles of prime dog walking territory over open fields and through wooded copses, as well as through the Dedham Vale AONB – perfect for an afternoon in the great outdoors. If you head to the coast you’ll be greeted by an unspoilt landscape teeming with wildlife and home to a number of nature reserves.

With space for up to 18 guests, Thorington Hall is the ideal place for a celebration in the countryside. This enormous 17th-century farmhouse is surrounded by over 1000 acres of farmland, so there's plenty of space for your four-legged friend to let off some steam while you're trying out the tennis court or cooking up a banquet.
