About 1 Horsey Barns

This cosy barn conversion is in the perfect location for exploring the Norfolk Broads.

1 Horsey Barns is characterful cottage set in a perfect rural location ideal for birdwatchers and keen walkers. One of three barns on the site, the cottage benefits from a large beamed room complete with an open plan sitting room and well-equipped kitchen.

Enjoy breakfast in the light, airy dining area before heading out onto the nearby footpath. Stop in for some refreshments in the traditional inn before heading back along the path to the beach. You could also walk along the iconic Norfolk Broad, Horsey Mere and out to Horsey Windpump.

Further afield, our Elizabethan House Museum, which makes for a great family-friendly day out, is a 20 mile drive from the cottage. The historic city of Norwich, with its multitude of shops, cafés and restaurants is just 15 miles from the barn.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
