    Your stay in this hugely atmospheric 17th-century manor is set to make special memories. A pillared portico runs along the façade to a large six-bedroom mansion where fine historic detailing will transport you to a bygone era. Linenfold panelling, and a quirky layout where everyone can find a quiet spot, makes your stay a special occasion for all. To the rear, there is a romantic garden with large lawns and an outdoor dining table. 

    As a guest, the whole estate is yours to explore. Meander through the main gardens of the estate as well as the wider countryside. Stroll along the river, through the woodlands and out towards Godolphin Hill, where views over St Ives Bay and St Michael’s Mount emerge. You’ll also find the Leeds engine house and stack, the remains of the Godolphin family mine.

    Godolphin is just a 15-minute drive to Praa Sands and its coastal village. Loop onto the South West Coast Path, for walks along the headlands to Porthleven. Or head in the opposite direction to St Michael’s Mount, a rocky island crowned by medieval church and castle.
