Eskdale Campsite facilities

On arrival

Please park up and report to reception before pitching your tent. Arrival time for all forms of accommodation is after 2pm. The departure times for all is 10am. Please ensure that you pitch at least 6m from fellow campers.

Our opening times are as follows:

Monday - Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 7pm, Saturday 9am- 6pm, Sunday: 8am - 5pm

Please note that during the day we will be closed between 11am and 2pm to undertake cleaning and maintenance.

Winter hours are generally 8am – 5pm all week but these times can vary and will be updated on the notice board outside the shop. If we are closed, then please follow signage guidance on arrival at the campsite.

Shop and takeaway food

Our shop is stocked with milk, bread, snacks, basic groceries as well as camping equipment and gifts. There's also a Campers' Kitchen offering pastries and hot filled baps. Ask at reception for opening times during your stay.

Ice-blocks

If you choose to freeze your own ice blocks, we have a freezer available in the washing-up room.

Toilet/shower blocks and extra facilities

These are fully open.

Laundry and drying facilities

Washing and drying room facilities are situated in the facilities block. The drying room will be available in wet weather or by request. Clothes lines are situated opposite the laundry room door.

Washing-up areas

Pot washing facilities are available at the toilet and shower block with plenty of hot water on tap. Please give the washing-up station a quick wipe down after you've finished, so it's nice and clean for the next person to use.

Electric hook-up to tents

There are a limited number of electric hook ups for tents.

Public WIFI

This is available in the reception and facility block area.

Local information point and public telephone

These can be found in the wash up area. Our staff will be happy to answer questions and provide any extra information you need about the campsite and local area.

Chemical waste facilities

Our chemical waste facility for campervans is located at the side of the toilet block. We do not have a drive over grey waste.
