About Moorland conservation in the Peak DistrictHelp to improve the biodiversity of the Peak District.
Come and spend a weekend on the Dark Peak moors in the Peak District. Help to conserve and improve moorland habitat and landscape, benefiting wildlife and preserving the stunning moorland views. Tasks may include removal of invasive species, moorland fence removal or planting to help revegetation work. The terrain is steep and the weather can be unpredictable so come prepared.
About the accommodation
A fully converted farmhouse situated at the western end of Edale. The bunkhouse lies at the foot of the 538m Horse Hill Tor with views of Kinder Scout. It is surrounded by working farms and a wooded garden with a stream.
