Winter at Houghton Mill
The historic water mill and campsite maybe closed for the winter but there is still plenty do outdoors around Houghton Mill before we open again for the season in March.
Get out and embrace winter along one of the many paths and waterways that lead from Houghton Mill. There are short strolls from the other side of the mill pond, or longer walks and cycle routes to the Hemingfords, Godmanchester and beyond for the more active.
We also have a mini nature trail and den building area for little explorers looking to try some of the National Trust's '50 things to do before you're 11¾'.
Stop in at our tea room for a hot drink, warming seasonal soup or to treat yourself to one of our delicious bakes, made with our stone ground flour milled on site.
