Do I need to pre-book? 

The ground floor of the house, gardens, parkland, café, shop and toilets are now open

On weekdays you don’t need to pre-book your visit. At busier times, like weekends and school holidays, booking is recommended to guarantee entry

In line with government guidance, you're required to wear a face covering in most enclosed spaces, unless exempt. Please bring one with you.

Settle down on the Stables lawn 

After a walk around the parkland or Impey woods, you can set up your picnic on the Stables lawn, with views over fields or of the beautiful stable block building.

Relax with views over Tiverton 

You can also do a circular walk of the formal woodland garden, taking in the quiet nooks and crannies, as well as exploring the ever emerging flora. Then, there's plenty of beautiful grassy areas to find a private spot and enjoy the vista.

Pool garden picnics 

Nestled behind yew hedges, lies the pool garden. You can watch dragonflies dance across the surface of the water, as you enjoy a good book on the picnic.
