Christmas 2025 at National Trust sites in Kent promises enchanting storybook settings, festive trails, and creative workshops for all ages. From Churchill's animals to story-themed house displays, seasonal crafts, carols and plenty of festival fun and sparkle, each location offers a unique way to celebrate the holidays from mid-November through to early January.
With the days drawing in and the temperatures starting to fall, it's time to start looking ahead to the festive season. Join us this Christmas as we time travel through 700 years of seasonal celebrations.

From Christmas markets to live carol music, wreath-making workshops to a festive family garden trail, plus the beautifully decorated house to explore, there’s something for everyone to enjoy for Christmas 2025 at Chartwell. Cover to Cover: Christmas at Scotney starts on Saturday 22 November. Other favourites returning this year include bookable Christmas lunches in the Stables tea-room, 'Late Nights & Lights' events, and our North Pole letter-writing station, popular with older and younger visitors alike.

For Christmas 2025, you are invited to celebrate an operatic Georgian Christmas at Quebec House in Kent. Soak up the atmosphere of an 18th century operatic experience. Glimpse the world of the opera through miniature and life-sized scenes set out in the rooms of the former family home of General James Wolfe. Head to the Coach House for a taste of 18th century treats prepared by our volunteer cooks. Open weekends 22 November–21 December 2025, 11am to 2.30pm with last entry at 2pm.

Visit Sheffield Park and Garden this Christmas for a magical The Elf on the Shelf® Christmas trail! Discover twelve beautiful hand-painted elf sculptures around the garden as you take in the glorious wintry scenes and delight in festive games and activities for all the family. Warm up with a hot chocolate and mince pie at our festive food stalls and make magical Christmas memories.

For Christmas 2024 discover Christmas medieval-style at Bodiam Castle. Enjoy winter walks in the fresh air, treats in the tea-room, listen to stories in the castle and take part in a Christmas trail.
