Getting the kids outdoors this winter in and around East Sussex

Winter is a great time to bundle up in waterproofs and wellies and get outdoors. Our places are the perfect wintery playground to tempt everyone outside at this time of year. Get the kids running around in the fresh air on the estate at Sissinghurst Castle Garden, marching round the grounds at Bodiam Castle, or exploring the moat and Old Castle in the gardens of Scotney Castle.

Visiting Scotney Castle with a family this summer

Scotney has plenty to offer families throughout the summer, from guided walks around the estate to picnics in the garden. We'll have games to entertain the whole family and there's plenty to explore in our natural play area and wilderness camp.
