Wander through an enchanting journey in the grand state rooms of Petworth House where creativity and nature come together for a magical festive display. Marvel under the stars, gaze up at the moon and take in nature inspired winter scenes.
A Magical Christmas at Petworth House is open 28th November 2026 - 3rd January 2027, 10.30am - 4pm. Normal admission applies Closed 24th & 25th December.

The House is approx. 700m on a gravel path with a gentle incline from the main visitor car park. There is a mobility buggy that runs from the main car park to the house on request. The State Rooms are all on the lower ground floor of the house, with step free access. The Chapel is down a small flight of stairs.

Please note the Beauty Room and Grand Stairs are closed for conservation work throughout Christmas. Over the Christmas period we get very busy, so recommend arriving early, or after 2pm. There will be a quiet space open for those who need it throughout the Christmas period.
