Make the most of your membership this Easter in and around East Sussex

This article was created for our 2018 activities. There’s a host of things to do in Kent and East Sussex this Easter. As National Trust members get free entry to our places, there’s reason to stop by lots of places nearby like Bodiam Castle and Bateman’s, where you can tick off 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ and run free in the outdoors. For a small additional cost, the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts are running throughout the two weeks of the holidays this year. All the money raised goes straight back into supporting our conservation work. Here’s when and where to make the most of your membership.

National Trust members can come into the gardens for free, where you’ll find a wild play area full of adventures. Why not grab a map for the woodland trail and try den building too. For a small additional cost of £3, join the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt inspired by Edward Hussy’s childhood diaries this year. Running throughout the holidays, seek out the wooden bird boxes throughout the garden to reveal which egg belongs to which species.
