October half-term and Hallowe'en in and around East Sussex

Hallowe’en has crept up on us like a ghostly ghoul in a kids cartoon and charmed us with its magic spell. It’s no use trying to resist until you’ve sold your soul to a spooky Hallowe’en trail at Scotney Castle or met the Crones at Bodiam Castle. You’ll be so glad you gave in and embraced the madness. Fortunately, for those who have yet to crack, there is plenty more going on in the October half-term holidays in and around East Sussex. As the leaves start to colour, curl and drop, there is much fun to be had crunching along woodland walks and ticking off some of your 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾.
