Summer family activities at Little Moreton Hall

Children playing with bubbles on front lawn

Come out and play this summer at Little Moreton Hall, with self-led fun family games outside and free archery every Wednesday afternoon during the summer holidays, we’ve got plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained and help you create great memories together.

Follow the doctor's orders with our children's trail

Pick up one of our trails from the welcome building and take the quiz to find your humour. Then look out for the Tudor doctor on your journey around the Hall and follow his orders to stay healthy...

Summer family activities

Our small orchard and large front lawn are the perfect setting for letting off steam. Roll down the mound in our orchard or do some archery on the front lawn in the summer holidays.

How the hall was made

Our exhibition around the hall tells you how the hall was built as you wander around. Great for when the kids are learning about Tudor times at school.

Explore

Look out for the Tudor toilets, the wibbly wobbly floors, spiral staircases and our feathered friends on the moat. Can you spot the dog kennel too?

Fuel up

Our tea rooms serve tempting treats for all the family including kids' lunch boxes. There are picnic benches at the front of the hall and on the meadow for those bringing their own treats.

Pre-loved books

Find a fantastic new adventure to take home and read in the children's book area of our pre-loved bookshop.
