Dog friendly spots at Lytes Cary Manor

Making the most of the estate walks at Lytes Cary Manor

Dogs, like us, love nothing more than a day trip out and to see and experience new special places. Why not treat your dog to a walk around the beautiful Somerset countryside which surrounds Lytes Cary Manor. To protect and maintain the house and garden at Lytes Cary we can only allow assistant dogs in these areas, but dogs on leads are welcome in the courtyard and on all estate walks.

The tea room courtyard offers a selection of light refreshments and sweet treats for you to indulge in before or after your walk. We have fresh water bowls in the courtyard for your four legged friend.
Entry to the estate walks, shop and tea room is free.

Your dog walk could be worth £2.50 to Lytes Cary Manor

If you are a member of the National Trust and come to Lytes Cary to walk your dog, please pop in to reception to have your membership card scanned. Each membership card we scan is worth £2.50 to Lytes Cary and the money is used to help maintain and conserve the house, garden and estate.
