Looking after Lyveden

As a conservation charity, we rely on your support. Donate online towards the Lyveden Reconnected project and do your bit to help us shape the future of the site.

All the money raised from fundraising at the property will support Lyveden Reconnected; a project to preserve and protect Lyveden for ever, for everyone. This project will mean visitors can experience Lyveden as Sir Thomas intented, as a journey through his elaborately designed Elizabethan gardens before viewing the garden lodge itself.

Looking down to the manor

The story of Lyveden is a poignant and dramatic example of one man standing up for his beliefs in dangerous times, in an act of quiet and creative rebellion. The Lyveden Reconnected project will enable us to delve deeper into how and why Sir Thomas created the garden and lodge at Lyveden, and to explore the relevance of his story in our modern world.

As a charity, we rely on the generosity of supporters to look after the historic buildings in our care. Not only do our supporters help to conserve beautiful homes and stunning gardens. They also ensure that future generations have places where they can be inspired by stories of the past, enjoy peace and time to reflect, and make memories to treasure.
