October half-term at Lyveden

Join in the fun this October half-term and Hallowe'en at Lyveden. Explore the garden landscape with our pumpkin trail and see what's happening in our 'spooky' Family Den. Or take a stroll through the leaves and tick off some of your ’50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾'.

Take part in the 'Grizzlewizzle and the Pumpkin Plotters' Trail this Hallowe’en. Help find each pumpkin plotter hidden around the garden landscape at Lyveden. Pick up a free trail leaflet from the Visitor Centre to start your search.

The garden lodge is possibly one of the most graffiti covered structures under the National Trust’s care. Amongst the many marks on the lodge are witch marks created in the late 16th and early 17th century to protect the building. Try your hand at graffiti hunting and learn more about these unusual and spooky marks with self-led activity sheets in the Family Den.

Tick off a few more 50 things challenges and explore the autumn landscape at Lyveden. If the weather’s not on your side, see what’s happening in our ‘spooky’ Family Den.  You’ll find lots of activities from dressing up to making your very own spooky piece of art.

Hallowe'en themed craft activities will be taking place in the family den on Tuesday 24th and Thursday 26th between 11:00-12:00, and 13:00-14:00. Come along and get stuck in!
