Enter our members-only competition for the chance to win an exclusive scone experience. Learn how we select new flavours and help to design and create a new Scone of the Month flavour to be served at the cafés in our care in autumn 2026.

Calling all baking enthusiasts. Enter our competition and you could win a rare opportunity to meet with our national product development team to help create a new Scone of the Month flavour. Learn about the process of selecting new flavour options – from concept to final design, help to shortlist a new recipe and pick up some top scone making skills along the way.

As part of the experience, the winner will also receive a voucher for a cream tea, a cookbook bundle and a £50 gift card to use at any National Trust shop, cafés or online.

The prize

The lucky winner of this member-exclusive competition will win:

  • Half a day with one of our national development chefs at the National Trust Head office to help develop a new Scone of the Month flavour. The experience will take place on Tuesday 10 February 2026 and the new flavour will be served in National Trust cafés for a month during autumn 2026.
  • A voucher for a cream tea for two at a National Trust café of the winner's choice.
  • A cookbook bundle from the ‘National Trust Book of...range, including National Trust Book of Scones, National Trust Book of Cakes and National Trust Book of Pies.
  • A £50 gift card to use in any National Trust shop, café or online.

Five runners-up will each receive a copy of the National Trust Book of Scones.

To enter this competition, you must be a National Trust member and be available to attend the experience on Tuesday 10 February- the 'Experience Date'. Full terms and conditions apply and can be read below.
