Join us as we celebrate the life and work of Leonard Woolf in the beautiful surroundings of his garden.

A dedicated and compassionate person, Leonard's life and career involved political work, writing, publishing and journalism, as well as providing unwavering support for his wife Virginia. This day is an excellent opportunity to find out more about this complex individual and explore the home and garden he shared with Virginia.

Visit us for a day of talks and readings celebrating the life and work of Leonard Woolf, taking place as part of the European Days of Jewish Culture & Heritage 2019. Talks exploring Leonard's life and personality, will take place in the Monk's House garden at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. Refreshments will also be available.

Please be aware this is a predominantly outdoor event, so suitable outdoor clothing is advisable in the event of wet weather. Pre-booking is not required, however, normal admission prices apply for non-National Trust members.
