Autumn walks at Mottisfont

A path by the river at Mottisfont, Hampshire in autumn

Experience the best of our grounds in autumn with a free guided walk, or simply stroll along winding paths throughout the gardens. If you fancy a longer walk, head out into our neighbouring countryside with one of our estate trails.

Walk around the grounds

Our grounds are ablaze with colour in autumn, when our magnificant trees change their leaves. Explore the grounds to discover displays from the largest plane tree in Britain, horse chestnuts and tulip trees. There are two cafés at Mottisfont, perfect for hot drinks and refreshments.

Wander at your own pace to take in these stunning sights, or join a guided walk that will take you to significant trees in the grounds.
